The American Academy of Dermatology is seeking a Membership Coordinator located in our Rosemont, IL. office responsible for collecting, organizing, and processing current member and group data on an ongoing basis. Compile and initiate processes for maintaining accurate member, customer, and practice records within the Academy's AMS (Association Management System. Audit, maintain and produce membership lists as requested. Supports membership operations including mailing list requests and administrative support for department.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain accurate member data through coordinating and encouraging information updates from members and their staff on a regular basis. Collection of data through emails, web, phone calls, and any other means determined. Coordinate and participate in data acquisition efforts.

* Review and process data received for accuracy prior to entry into AMS. Continual review of data integrity which may include: running regular views in database to analyze inconsistencies in data; conducting quality assessments of data going directly into the member database; recommending methods to improve data integrity.

* Develop, structure, and maintain company/persons relationships within member database.

* Serve as liaison to other departments for inquiries on member database.

* Run reports/queries as requested and needed by AAD staff and collaborates closely with AAD research and analytics staff to pull, analyze, and secure data, as necessary.

* Support Sr. Member Operations Manager and appropriate staff on managing web-based applications and member profile pages that import data directly into member database. Assist with testing new database software updates and configurations as needed. Coordinate and respond to mailing list requests. Perform other duties as requested.

* Support department's VP in setting-up department meetings and events, Operation Plan updates, developing and managing an administrative calendar with due dates/reminders, Annual meeting and Innovation Academy schedule, work with Employee Action plan leader to implement activities and update boards. Compile and distribute CCTF meeting packets, DOIs, directories, recording and upload summation reports, RFA votes, attendance, and board material management as needed, provide administrative support for Annual Meeting CCTF meetings. Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

* Minimum two years' database experience necessary. Experience in administrative support and individual membership organization preferred.

* Possess excellent attention to detail and organization skills, the ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.

* Able to work effectively with varied people to facilitate the completion of the work. Able to operate standard office equipment, i.e., copiers, fax, etc.

* PC literate (MS Office) including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with email-based software is a plus.

* Ability to learn new software products and database systems required.
