The StretchLab San Antonio team is currently seeking a qualified Membership Sales Specialist who is motivated on driving sales and providing excellent customer service to expand our growing StretchLab community! This position provides a hourly pay plus a competitive commission structure. We are recruiting for all 4 locations in San Antonio!
POSITION: The purpose of the Sales Specialist is to assist the Sales Manager with meeting monthly goals for first visit assessments, services, and new memberships. Primary responsibilities are calling lead and scheduling client mobility assessments for our stretch programs. Ensuring a proper sales process is executed so a proper membership option is presented based on a clients needs. During the first visit our specialist provide education about our programs, ensure a positive studio experience during the assessment, and successfully moving them through the sales process to the appropriate membership option. The Sales Specialist also assists with member retention, providing outstanding customer service to current members, event (pop-up)marketing, and assist in managing social media accounts.
Boutique fitness, gym membership sales and/or general sales knowledge/experience is preferred, but not required. Starting base pay is based on experience.
This position is a part time/full time position that requires availability to work on weekends, evening and/or morning shift. Schedule may change based on event marketing needs outside normal business hours.
There is potential to move up to Assistant Sales Manager and/or Sales Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required
- Excellent social media skills, with the ability to build creative content and post daily
- Prefer candidates with general understanding of anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, exercise science, or physical therapy
- Warm welcoming and engaging personality
- Ability to build strong customer relationships
- Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, stretch services
- Self-motivated and takes initiative
- Ability to learn and use the ClubReady management software system
- Must have excellent communication skills via in person, phone and email
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Must have proficient computer skills
- Occasional travel may be required and utilize a phone for managing multiple locations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Authorization to work in the United States required
- Availability on weekends
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute sales process of lead generation, setting up first visits, closing membership sales, and follow ups
- Assist team in meeting goal of generating a minimum of 100 organic leads from community outreach
- Establishing relationships with community partners and scheduling a minimum of 8 pop-up events a month per studio
- Conduct success first visits with new clients, while establishing a relationship and targeting individual's goals and needs
- Maintain acceptable level of personal sales production
- Present available services to current or prospective members
- Book and quality first visits to achieve monthly sales quota
- Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the club
- Utilize lead management system and meet minimum daily call goals with prospective clients to book intros
- Attend and complete all relative training programs
- Take pictures for social media platforms and manage accounts
- Light cleaning of the retail area, studio, and restrooms
- Other duties as assigned
