Membership Sales Associate - Zone Health and Fitness : Job Details

We're seeking someone with a sales-minded approach, excellent customer service skills, and a positive, energetic attitude for our next membership sales associate. Our ideal candidate brings at least a year of sales experience along with a good understanding of how to prospect leads through telemarketing, cold calling, walk-ins, and member referrals. Must be willing to work a minimum of 25 hours per week, nights and weekends. Responsibilities: • Retain long-term clients and expand the studio's member base through sales, onboarding new members, and providing great customer service • Acquire leads by contacting, messaging, or emailing new potential members by engaging with them at local events or studio walk-ins • Manage and organize marketing efforts both within and outside of the studio • Welcome visitors and members to the studio, answer phones. and assist the front desk with various administrative tasks • Provide excellent customer service to resolve the problems of members in an impartial and professional way • Respond immediately to member requests, inquiries, and concerns Qualifications: • Previous customer service experience required for this position • 1 year of experience in sales or a similar role is highly desired • Good organization and time management skills • High school diploma, GED or equivalent • Proficient in computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) Membership Specialist Requirements • Candidates must complete this application in its entirety including the personality assessment in order to be considered for this position • Excellent and Strong Sales Experience (minimum 1 to 2 years) • Goal and Detail Oriented • CPR/AED CERTIFIED (or willing to attain a CPR/AED certification) • Bilingual Preferable • Must be able to greet each member enthusiastically with a smile • Customer Service Oriented • Confidence to speak clearly with members • Relationship Building • Cheerful spirit and inviting energy • Organized • Ability to work part-time hours (min 25 hours) • Able to work evenings and weekends Compensation: $13 - $14 hourly
