Job Type Part-timeDescriptionThe Pickleball Club is looking for a Part-Time (20-25 hours per week) Membership Sales Specialist! This is a remote position based in Florida. Multiple positions and shifts available.Overview:The Membership Sales Specialist is essential in promoting membership growth at our exclusive pickleball club, handling both outbound and inbound calls. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Membership, this role involves implementing successful sales strategies to attract new members. The Specialist will work closely with the Executive Director and the Membership Manager to boost sales efforts, respond to member and non-member inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service to members and prospects.Key Responsibilities:Sales & Negotiation Skills
  • Lead Conversion: Engage with prospects and convert them into members.
  • Product Knowledge: Have a deep understanding of a Pickleball Membership to answer client queries effectively.
  • Persuasion and Negotiation: Handle objections and close deals.
Communication Skills
  • Active Listening: Fully focus on the client's needs and respond thoughtfully.
  • Verbal Communication: Deliver clear, concise, and professional communication over the phone.
  • Written Communication: Provide effective follow-up via email or messaging in a professional manner.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Skills
  • Experience with CRM Tools: Proficient using platforms like HubSpot or similar software to track and manage leads.
  • Lead Management: Organize and prioritize leads, ensuring timely follow-up and nurturing of client relationships.
  • Data Entry & Management: Efficiently record client information, interactions, and sales activities in the CRM system.
Time Management & Organization
  • Multi-tasking: Ability to manage multiple phone leads and client follow-ups simultaneously.
  • Prioritization: Ensure priority leads that require immediate attention are followed up accordingly.
  • Follow-Up Skills: Deliver consistent and timely follow-up to maintain client interest.
Problem-Solving Skills
  • Handling Objections: Address and overcome client concerns or objections during calls.
  • Adaptability: Adjust sales strategies based on client feedback and preferences.
Resilience & Patience
  • Handling Rejection: Ability to stay motivated despite setbacks or rejections.
  • Persistence: Follow-up continuously with leads that require nurturing over time.
Technical Savvy
  • Tech Literacy: Proficient using phone systems, CRM tools, email, and other communication technologies.
  • Data Analytics: Evaluate CRM analytics to optimize lead tracking and follow-up strategies.

  • Knowledge: Have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Company's policies, procedures, and policies.

RequirementsQualifications:
  • High school diploma.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the health & fitness, club or hospitality or leisure industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a persuasive demeanor.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to achieving targets
  • Demonstrated experience in both inbound and outbound sales.
  • Ability to understand and address customer needs, with a focus on providing a positive experience.
  • Genuine interest in Pickleball and its community is a plus.
Physical Requirements: Workspace: A quiet, dedicated area with a desk and chair that supports good posture.Equipment: Phone, or headset with a good microphone for clear communication. Computer is provided by The Pickleball Club.Internet Connection: A stable internet connection to manage calls and access necessary software.Mobility: Ability to move around for breaks, stretching, and maintaining comfort during long hours of sitting.Reporting: This position reports to the Executive Director of MembershipThe functions have been provided as examples of the types of work performed by employees assigned to this job classification.
