Job Title:Mental Health Clinician / Therapist
Division/Program:(Adult Inpatient) Crisis Residential Unit
Starting Compensation:70000 - 85000 USD Per Year
Working Location:Merced, CA
Working Hours/Shift:(Wednesday to Saturday) 4-day, 10-hour work schedule

This position is eligible for our Commuter Benefit Program for:- This position is eligible for commuter benefits for those who travel more than 20 miles one way from their residence to their work location.
- Eligible employees approved for the Commuter Benefit Program will receive $200 per month for regular full-time employees and $100 per month for regular part-time employees
* On-call, temporary, and part-time staff working less than 20 hours are not eligible for this benefit. What you bring to SBHG:- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from an accredited college or university required
- (4) years direct service experience with the mentally ill, preferably adults preferred.
- BBS Registered: APCC, ACSW, AMFT, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT required
How you will make a difference:- Prepares a comprehensive written psychosocial evaluation and assessment on assigned clients, in addition to an intake note, daily progress notes, summary notes (as may be required) and a discharge summary.
- Responsible for assessing client's readiness for admission and coordination planning with treatment team, the client's case managers, and transferring facilities
- Responsible for assessing client's readiness for discharge and coordination planning with treatment team; working with case managers to effect appropriate referrals for placement, case management and aftercare services; coordinates benefits (Medi-Cal) with Business Office personnel; and maintains knowledge of community resources.
- Provides individual group therapy to clients on a weekly basis and as needed based on the needs of the clients
- Interprets facility policies and procedures to clients and family members.
- Actively participates in treatment team meetings and is responsible for working with other disciplines to develop a coordinated treatment plan for assigned clients.

- 16-bed facility for adults (ages 18-59)
- Rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation services
- Pre-vocational or vocational counseling
- Medication evaluation and support services
