Mental Health Technician - Sandstone Care : Job Details

Position Title: Mental Health TechnicianLocation: Chantilly, VA | Adult Medical Detox Treatment Facility Schedule: PRN - As Needed Support (Minimum 2 shifts per month)Compensation: $17.00 Per Hour + Overnight Differential In this role you will:

• Monitor clients constantly and work with nurses and other staff to ensure their safety.
• Assist with mealtime setup, light laundry, room cleaning, and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Conduct admission and discharge processes for new and existing clients, including paperwork, drug and alcohol tests, skin checks, and inventory searches.
• Perform regular safety checks on clients every 15 or 30 minutes, depending on their risk level.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have 2 years of college education OR a high school diploma with 1 year of experience in the human services field
• Candidates must be First Aid / CPR Certified prior to first day of employment
