Job Title: TherapistPosition OverviewDesert Winds Recovery is looking for Mental Health Therapists to join our team! Mental HealthTherapists provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment of individuals and groups with mental health,substance use and emotional/behavioral issues.Responsibilities:•Conduct psychosocial intake assessments and crisis/risk assessments and interventions withpatients;•Conduct treatment planning, care coordination and discharge planning with patients; *•Conduct individual and group therapy with patients;•Participate in Intervention Treatment Team meetings, Interdisciplinary Treatment Teammeetings and staff meetings;•Interact and communicate effectively with all team members in order to provide effective andcompassionate patient care.Required education:•Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, orrelated field, from an accredited college or universityRequired license or certification:•Licensed in the State of Nevada for: LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, LCADC or CPC-Intern, LCSW-Intern,MFT-InternLanguage Skills:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret human service periodicals, professional journals,technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, businesscorrespondence, and analyze policies and procedures.
