MEP Electrical Engineer - NES Fircroft : Job Details

NES is a Global Staffing provider to the Power Generation industry. We are currently looking for an experienced and hands on Senior Electrical Engineer - MEP for a full time direct hire position.

Responsibilities:

• Design comprehensive lighting, power, and fire alarm systems, including equipment selection, for projects of all sizes.
• Evaluate system options and assess existing systems as needed.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, utilizing AutoCAD and Revit based on architectural preferences.
• Develop detailed specifications.
• Provide bid and construction phase services, including bid reviews, RFI responses, shop drawing reviews, project walk-throughs, and field observation reports.
• Serve as a technical expert and resource in building electrical systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an electrical focus.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience (preferably in Chicago).
• PE certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD and Revit.
