THE ROLE: Merchandise Assistant, FlashWe're looking for... Rue Gilt Groupe is looking for a Merchandise Assistant to support our special merchandising team. The assistant will provide administrative support, specifically focused on the execution residual, flash and select marketing campaigns. The assistant will serve a point of contact for communication among key cross-functional teams and departments. What you'll accomplish...

• Build and maintain events by reviewing merchandise and product availability
• Analyze available inventory to assist with event concepts and construction
• Execute and refresh residual, flash and marketing boutiques
• Support cross-functional communication with appropriate teams
• Support miscellaneous tasks as required to execute merchandising functions
• Use Merchandising expertise to provide input and suggestions for new initiatives

• Bachelor's Degree
• Previous retail background preferred; exposure to fashion and merchandising highly desirable; Passion for fashion a must
• Self-starter who is highly organized and detail-oriented and can handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel); comfortable with tools in an online environment
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills; Ability to express point of view and be an active participant in daily business conversations.

Expected Base Salary Range: $48,000 - $52,000 Rue Gilt Groupe is committed to providing Associates with equal pay for equal work and carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to, prior experience, education, certification(s), license(s), skills and expertise, location, internal equity, and other factors that are job related and consistent with business need. Our goal is to support, reward and compensate the entire individual. Depending on role eligibility, your offer may also include bonus/commission, stock options, 401(k) participation, paid time off, medical, dental, vision and basic life insurance.
