Merchandiser - A and B Distributors : Job Details

Job Type Full-time Description Ensures that all product is thoroughly merchandised to the designated location within each retail account in a timely and orderly manner Responsibilities:

• Abides by all Company requirements and policies written in the Associate Handbook.
• Adheres to all state and federal regulations and standards.
• Maintains in working order all assigned company equipment and vehicles.
• Projects a positive image to all retailers, coworkers, and consumers, which is consistent with company expectations.
• Proven ability to build relationships with current retailers as well as form new partnerships with potential customers.
• Is reliable and feels the accountability of the work they perform as a vital contributor to the team.
• Ensures product is thoroughly stocked and rotated in all designated coolers, maintains existing displays, and assists in building new displays.
• Creatively builds displays which are shop-able, priced correctly, and gains the interest of consumers.
• Rotates and merchandises inventory in all retail accounts to ensure the products sold remain in stock until the next delivery date.
• Merchandises product to ensure adherence to The Company FIFO procedure (First In First Out)
• Communicates potential out-of-stock situations to the team and maximizes sales every day.
• Understands that a flexible work schedule may be required for this position.
• Attends all required company meetings.
• Maintains an overall look of the leader appearance in the designated territory.

Requirements Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a Valid Driver's license
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as a demonstrated ability to utilize sales applications within ERP software (i.e. Encompass).
• 1+ year of customer service, retail, sales, or service industry experience

Physical Requirements: Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs., climb, reach and perform various physical maneuvers to perform the essential functions of the job. Working Conditions: The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold while merchandising and rotating products in coolers.
