In addition to a robust E-commerce business and a strong wholesale presence, Rhone currently has 15 retail stores across the U.S., all of which are used for building community through various initiatives such as the brand's signature Mind & Muscle events.About the role:The Merchandising Assistant will work hand in hand with the Merchandising Team, and collaborate with the Design & Product Development/Production Team and other members of the company to help facilitate the execution of products in all categories for multiple seasons across both Men's and Women's businesses. The ideal candidate has keen attention to detail and a passion for clothing. The Merchandising Assistant is organized and hardworking with the ability to perform all functions of the job quickly and efficiently. They are excited to continue to learn and develop new skills with an aptitude to learn quickly and adapt in a growing environment.What you'll do:Maintain the Merchandising team's database tools, including but not limited to the product lifecycle management system (PLM), enterprise planning system (ERP), Shopify, selling templates and reports, and assortment sheetsOrganize, track, and distribute samples for full product development lifecyclePartner with the Design and Product Development teams to track & communicate changes to products throughout the development cycle by managing the daily change logWork cross functionally with the brand marketing team to manage photoshoot assets and assist with photoshoot needsCollaborate with operations and allocations teams to track and communicate PO deliveriesAssistMerchandising team with preparation of product and presentation documents for milestone meeting setup and takedown (Sketch Review, Line Review, Investment Review), as well as special meetings like Board Meetings and Store Manager SummitsWhat you'll bring:•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with a deep interest in retail merchandising/buying and a passion for productRetail experience in apparel is a plusProficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft ExcelPrecise attention to detail, with established time management and organizational skillsAbility to maintain a high level of enthusiasm, motivation and a positive attitude in a high pressure, fast paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsCapability to build strong partnerships and to work collaboratively to achieve goals, including resolving conflict to get to a decisionAbility and willingness to travelWhat you'll get:Access to benefits, including medical, dental, vision, & commuter benefits401KEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid Time OffGenerous Holiday ScheduleFlexible schedule and work-from-home daysCompany incentive planParental LeaveGenerous employee discount plus allotmentsJob Type: Full TimeReports to: Sr. Manager, MerchandisingLocation: Rhone HQ, Stamford, CT - 5 days in office
