The Merchandising Assistant is responsible for a variety of duties.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (REQUIRED)

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and acceptable driving record
• Prior experience driving and working with a variety of vehicles
• Ability to operate vehicles equipped with a manual transmission
• Ability to move quickly (Certain elements of the job are physically demanding)
• Ability to work irregular hours, which may include evenings or Saturdays if needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS (PREFERRED)

• 1 or more years of experience as a Lot Attendant, Detailer, Porter, Shuttle Driver, or related position
• A familiarity with Rapid Recon

JOB DUTIES

This position works both independently and with a team to maintain our photo/inventory merchandising processes and sales lot which is clean, orderly and organized. This involves a variety of duties including:

• Taking videos/photos of newly arrived vehicles and utilizing both a desktop computer and iPad to monitor successful uploading.
• Use Photo System to precisely image vehicles.
• Follow merchandising processes accurately and efficiently
• Documenting VIN numbers, accessories, damage, and other pertinent vehicle features to accompany photos and videos
• Retrieving newly purchased vehicles from auction sites
• Transporting vehicles around lot as well as to auction sites, body shops, dealerships, etc.
• Creating/attaching signage, such as Buyer's Guides, QR codes, & Other Products to vehicles
• Assigning stock control numbers to vehicles, cataloging and storing keys
• Moving, organizing, and aligning vehicles on the Sales Lot to maximize presentation and use of space
• Maintain upkeep of dealer grounds (ex. clearing snow from vehicles and Sales Lot as necessary)
• Driving vehicles from point to point within the dealership in support of Sales and Service departments, as directed
