Merchandising Assistant - PT - Great Parks of Hamilton County : Job Details

Join our team as a Merchandising Assistant at Winton Woods! Great Parks of Hamilton County is accepting applications for part time Merchandising Assistant at Winton Woods. This part time position works various shifts including occasional weekends. Assists the Merchandising Manager and the Inventory & Purchasing Manager with the processing and distribution of supplies, merchandise, etc. Performs data entry tasks and other clerical duties to maintain accurate inventory control of merchandise for resale, including but not limited to receiving, pricing and transfers to various locations. Responsible for maintaining records including purchase orders, order forms, sales reports, etc. . At Great Parks, our team members work together to preserve and protect natural resources and to provide outdoor recreation and education in order to enhance the quality of life for present and future generations

• Preforms clerical duties required for maintaining merchandise records including purchase orders, order forms, sales sheets, etc.
• Arranges merchandise displays in an attractive manner at retail locations. Features current, popular and other saleable items. Tags sale merchandise and makes authorized markdowns.
• Fills merchandise orders in preparation for weekly delivery.
• Maintains inventory records.
• Preforms inventory spot checks at retail facilities as directed. Notifies the Merchandising Manager of shortages.
• Preforms price comparisons with similar retail locations in the area.
• Transports change orders, merchandise, food, mail and supplies.
• Maintains cleanliness in the warehouse and office work areas.
• Processes online sales orders and wholesale orders in a timely manner.
• Assists in the execution of marketing strategy including reaching new demographics, planning and managing initiatives.
• Assists the Warehouse Manager in the Conservation & Parks warehouse as directed.
• Performs job duties in accordance with Great Parks of Hamilton County's policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
• Maintains confidentiality of confidential and sensitive information.
• Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and punctual attendance and works outside of normal schedule as required.

QUALIFICATIONS An appropriate combination of education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities. An example of an acceptable qualification is: High School diploma or equivalent. One to three years of warehouse experience preferred. Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.
