Recycling Sorter Peoplelink Staffing is hiring motivated, hardworking and reliable employees for a prominent client in South Beloit, IL within the metal recycling industry. If you enjoy working outdoors and in a fast-paced environment we'd love to talk with you. Recycling Sorter Job Summary :

• Starting pay $17
• 1st Shift 5:45am - 6:00pm
• Monday - Friday
• Working for a local scrap yard
• Placing scrap metals through an industrial shredder to be broke down into smaller pieces
• Sorting various metals accordingly as they come down the conveyor belt
• Visually inspecting metals
• Removing any debris that do not belong
• Shoveling debris that falls off of the line

Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs consecutively
• Ability to identify the different types of metals
• Must be able to work in a fast pace environment
• Must be able to work independently or as a team
• Must have Steel Toed Boots
