Records stopped meters, broken meters, dials, boxes, etc. Does minor meter repair and meter box repair. Investigates and resolves customer billing exception and other inquiries. Arranges appointments, reports leaks and maintains records. Reads and interprets maps/records. Download and upload meter-reading routes. Performs other similar work that he/she may be called upon to perform and any other work as necessary or to satisfactorily complete the job to which he/she has been assigned. As required, may support operations including times of emergencies. Drives a company vehicle. Small hand tools and any other tools necessary to complete the job.Knowledge/Skills Knowledge and/or ability to quickly learn about the company. Ability to carry out oral and written instructions. Knowledge of equipment used, and of basic computer operating principles to process accounts and analyze computer data. Requires normal physical and mechanical ability and a neat appearance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
