Mfg. Equipment Engineer - Honda : Job Details

The primary mission of this position is to lead activities related to equipment characteristic improvement for the Ohio Transmission Plant, High Pressure Die Cast Department. This will be accomplished by performing true root cause analysis of top problems and implementing countermeasures. The goal is to facilitate department S, Q, and D metric target achievement. Key Accountabilities Manufacturing Equipment Expert: Equipment top problem root cause analysis and permanent countermeasure. Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends related to equipment performance. Identify improvement opportunities for Key Performance Indicators and for cost avoidance/elimination. Become an expert in a specific area of automation technology (i.e. PLC, Motion Control, Robotics, etc) Then, train associates on equipment or process changes. Lifecycle management of manufacturing equipment.
