Consider joining our family - take care of your career and your community!Meijer Rewards* Weekly pay* Scheduling flexibility* Paid parental leave* Paid education assistance* Team member discount* Development programs for advancement and career growthPlease review the job profile below and apply today!.What You'll Be Doing:* Ensure corporate compliance with laws and regulations.* Lead the Corporate Process Safety Management (PSM) program.* Partner with Legal to respond to regulatory body inquiries and activity.* Collaborate with internal & external partners to enhance and sustain a best-in-class safety strategy.* Maintain and identify trends in health and safety metrics while using those metrics to drive continuous improvement by creating recommendations to the field based on interpretations.* Develop health and safety policies and procedures.* Partner with corporate and field leadership teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.* Travel outside of corporate office to support the field as needed (Up to 25%).* Act as the enterprise subject matter expert on Federal OSHA, State OSHA plans, and the Process Safety Management (PSM) program.* Responsible for leading the Fire Safety and Suppression function.* This job profile is not meant to be all inclusive of the responsibilites of this position; may perform other duties as assigned or required.What You'll Bring with You:* Bachelor's degree or equivalent safety experience.* 6+ years of experience in Health and Safety where compliance is a large part of the role.* CSP/ASP Preferred* Expertise with Federal and State OSHA plans.* Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM).* Ability to lead projects and programs.* Ability to interpret local, state, and federal regulations and determine business applications.* Demonstrated ability to build partnerships to accomplish objectives.
