Middle Office Data Analyst- New York, NY- Plan, dev, analyze, impl & maint DB & SW for fin trading sys. Utilize knwl & understanding of data struct, data analysis & ML, in order to des, prog, test, trblsht & mod DB & SW sys used for fin trading pltf. Admin, test & impl comp DB, appl knwl of DB mgmt sys & data analysis. Coordinate changes to trading pltf & DB utilizing comp langs such as Python. Dev distr, scalable data storage & distr sys to supp trade reporting & integrating trading data. Utilize Python to create SW-based batch proc to inc trading info from new mkts & asset classes into back-office acctg & front-office trading sys & to analyze discrepancies & reconcile internal data with external broker data. Req's: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Quant Mgmt, Comp Sci, Comp Eng'g, or rel field, plus 6 mo of exp in pos offered or as FP&A Analyst or rel exp. All req'd exp must have incl: Exp const ML algos & bldg linear regression, logistic regression, random forests & SVM models. Exp with ML models, fin fcst & data viz. Exp in data sci, decision analytics & modeling, sys prog, op analytics, fin modeling & acctg, & adv VBA macros. Exp comp in Python, SQL, R, Tableau & Javascript (React).
