****Essential Functions****

Operate tanker-receiving bays, receiving all incoming products and load out bay.

Thoroughly wash tanks and tankers.

Take proper samples of incoming product for bacteria, fat, SNF, and inhibitory substances.

Monitor CIP of silos and tankers and check solution strength of CIP.

Utilize product recovery equipment.

Monitor test and temperature monitoring equipment. Replace supplies as needed.

Complete all paperwork neatly and correctly.

Complete assigned housekeeping responsibilities.

Must complete all daily, weekly and monthly Master Sanitation items.

Testing all inbound loads using charm Safe Level Beta-Lactum (SLBL) and Chloramphenicol (CAP) strip for drug residue screening.

Properly conduct charm tests, Titratable acidity tests, pH tests, and total solid testing using CEM.

Hooking and unhooking, venting, and moving tankers.

Must have the ability to troubleshoot problems and be persistent until a solution is found.

Must be willing to ask for assistance when the process is unclear.

Maintain a satisfactory DMV record.

Maintain Reblend room to meet all quality and environmental standards for cleanliness.

Pre startup sanitation checks on reblend equipment prior to use.

Approved product verification for reblend prior to use.

Operate forklift and powder dump stations and keep system supplied with powder running at optimal speed.

Monitor system to ensure reconstituted product is meeting all requirements.

Must perform CIP on all reblend equipment following all procedures.

Report immediately to foreperson or supervisor of any damage, irregular activity, or unsafe conditions concerning equipment.

Follow SQF, GMP, and HACCP policies and procedures.

Follow all safety and working rules.

Must have the ability to get along with co-workers, management personnel, customers, vendors, and employees in accordance with the company policies and working rules while ensuring a harmonious and conducive work environment.

Maintain a positive attitude and contribute towards a quality environment.

Excellent regular full time attendance in support of company objectives.

Use initiative and judgment in making decisions, keeping with California Dairies, Inc. best interests.

**Education and/or Experience**

High school diploma or equivalent required

**Language Skills**

Proficient written and spoken English required.

Must have a Weighers and Samplers license or be able to obtain and maintain license. Must posses and maintain a valid California drivers license.

Must obtain and maintain forklift license.

****Physical Demands****

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. **Sitting/Standing/Walking:** Each workday the operator stands throughout their shift. The operator walks on wet uneven concrete and tiles surfaces during the course of each workday.

**Lifting/Carrying:** Each workday the operator lifts up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis and over 80 pounds on an occasional basis. Two or more employees complete lifts of greater than 80 pounds.

**Pushing/Pulling:** Each workday the operator frequently pushes/pulls hoses to align and hook up. Pipe connections, water hose movement, and cleaning all involve pushing and pulling.

**Bending/Stooping:** Each workday the operator bends to pick up fittings and tool as well as to make lower level connections of pipes is required. Removing of parts from sanitizer buckets require both of these motions on a frequent basis during the course of a workday.

**Squatting/Kneeling/Crawling:** Each workday squatting and kneeling are frequent motions when making connections at the silos. Kneeling is frequent when opening and closing tanker domes for the taking of samples and the placing of dome filters during the course of a workday.

**Twisting/Turning:** Each workday the operator seldom is making twisting or turning motions. Exceptions may be when making hose hook ups at the tankers requiring a limited amount of twisting at the waist during the course of a workday.

**Climbing/Balancing:** These are frequently used when ascending stairs to the tankers and while on the tankers pulling samples each workday. The operator climbs a stairway to the top of the tanker and must maintain balance while on top of the tanker. The operator climbs steps to a landing in front of each of the silos when making hook ups at the silo during the course of a workday.

**Reaching:** Each workday the operator has to reach up to shoulder height for the rinse hose when rising off the tanker dome prior to taking off samples. Reaching is a frequent motion when handling the product hoses to attach and remove them from the trucks. Reaching for parts in the parts trays in the silo and cleaning in place (CIP) room is a required motion.

**Grasping/Manipulating:** Frequent use of the hands and fingers are repeated through the entire shift. Small vials are used for samples and the related equipment handling. Parts and fittings are constantly being handled and changed around to complete product flows.

**Equipment**

Must be able to drive trucks in and out of bays and park them, run Delvo and charm test, conduct PH and acidity testing, along with B/F and solids on the C.E.M.
