Mill Operations Laborer - ASARCO LLC : Job Details

POSITION OVERVIEW Entry level position works with hand tools and small equipment to maintain the mill and surrounding area. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Work safely around moving equipment while using required safety equipment. Use of hand shovel. Use of general hand tools. Assist in all clean up throughout property as required. Use of small front end loader for cleanup when needed. Various duties as assigned. Trained on forklifts Other duties assigned KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must be able to work in areas that are loud, dusty, wet and cramped. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to work rotating shifts (nights and days). Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructional and procedural manuals. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or GED required. Current, valid driver's license.
