With approximately $3 billion in sales and 4,000 employees worldwide, we have a material presence in more than 20 countries.Position SummaryMill OperatorJM Huber is seeking a Mill Operator at Active Minerals International, a Kaolin production facility in Gordon, GA.This position keeps process equipment running and producing efficiently while at the same time creating a product to meet product specifications.Huber offers an excellent total compensation package which includes:* Benefits for physical, financial and emotional health* Affordable medical plans: wellness credit and company funded HSA choices.* 401k with 125% company match up to 5% of eligible pay, 100% vested at hire.* Bonus yearly 401k company contribution of 5%; 5-year vesting schedule* Tuition reimbursement; 90% reimbursement of approved tuition costs* Duties & Responsibilities* Operate all mill systems to include all associated equipment and controls.* Identify, troubleshoot and correct problems with the mill systems.* Collect and prepare samples for the QC lab, if needed.* Perform QC duties and basic tests.* Blow out equipment filters and lubricate, as needed.* Operate conveying systems and dust collectors.* Maintain silo levels to allow for continuous operations of all loading areas.* Know and maintain product specifications.Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills* High School graduate or GED.* Effective communication, both written and verbal.* Strong moral and ethical standards.* Must be able to work individually and in a team atmosphere.Physical RequirementsWork is performed in a production environment. Position requires lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying up to 55 lbs. on a regular basis. Able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop and climb up to 70 feet. Able to operate hand and foot controls simultaneously. Manual dexterity required for operation of hand controls and/or computer keyboard.EducationHigh School DiplomaGEDTotal RewardsJ.M.
