We offer a casual work environment with a family atmosphere. We are currently looking for someone to join our team in the following position:Millwork TechnicianJob Duties:
  • Daily assembles door and frame units per the established production schedule.
  • Machine door jambs and cut door trim for same.
  • Helps train and cross train new technicians on general shop practices and tool and equipment use.
  • Helps load outgoing orders as needed and is able to identify product and answer questions to it.
  • Keeps work area picked-up, clean, and safe for all personnel. This includes shop and warehouse areas.
  • Follows all safety procedures as they relate to equipment within the Door Shop

Job Requirements:
  • The physical requirements for this job include walking and standing on concrete floors and unpaved yard areas. Stair and ladder climbing is required. Most work is accomplished inside, under ambient temperature conditions that may range from 40 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The ambient environment will be subjected to airborne dust from the woodworking process. All motor skills normally used in grasping, lifting, bending, turning, and carrying (minimum of 80 lbs.) are necessary. Correctable vision and hearing is needed.
  • Dresses appropriately for the work being performed. Loose fitting clothes are prohibited due to the risk of being entangled in power equipment and causing injury.
  • Must be able to safely operate a forklift for material handling tasks.
  • Must be able to safely operate a variety of electric and pneumatic woodworking tools to fabricate parts and complete final door assemblies.
  • Must be able to understand written and oral instructions. Must be able to follow multi-step instructions.
  • Flexibility in required in working with fellow co-workers and customers.
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
