Millwright - Hunter International Recruiting : Job Details

The Millwright will repair or construct all types of equipment and structures throughout plant and office.

Millwright Responsibilities:

• Works from complex drawings, sketches and verbal instructions given by the millwright foreman.
• Takes care of all mechanical breakdowns anywhere in the plant.
• Maintains and repairs all types of conveyors and elevators, filters, blowers, vacuum pans, screens, etc.
• Is competent in the use of millwright and welding equipment.
• Is qualified in rigging and handling heavy equipment, brazing, soldering and cutting.
• Works from scaffolds and ladders.
• Has some knowledge and skill in other maintenance crafts.
• Does routine equipment inspections as assigned. is responsible for maintaining tools and equipment in good operating condition.
• Reports any damage to machines or equipment or spoilage of material to immediate supervisor.
• Maintains work area in neat and orderly manner.
• May be required to do other duties related to the job.

Millwright Requirements:

• G.E.D or High School Diploma.
• 3-5 years of industrial experience.
• Previous experience with welding and equipment assembly.
• Knowledgeable on standard measuring devices.
• Comfortable working in awkward positions when required.
