• Perform a wide variety of assignments, including, but not limited to;Machine Repair, Machine Installation, Rigging, Basic Machining, Pipefitting,Metalwork/Fabrication and Welding.
• Perform alloperations in accordance with the specified guidelines and instructions, whileexercising safety for oneself and others.
• Workingconditions include: Heavy industrial environment, including, but not limited toexposure to heat, cold, dust, dirt, coolants, oils, noise, heights and confinedspaces.
• PhysicalRequirements: Bending, lifting, and pushing weights of up to 40 pounds or more.
• Working fromdrawings, plant layouts, or verbal orders, perform a wide variety offabrication assignments, operating a variety of power equipment and machinery.
• Must beproficient in the use of all measuring instruments to layout, check and verifyall dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintenanceand repair of all machinery, equipment and facilities.
• Assist orperform all operations necessary to rig, move all type of machines andequipment for new installation or intra-plant layout changes.
• Assist allother trades in all shapes of structural operations and in the dismantling andreassemble of structures and machines requiring repair or installation.
• Performset-up and all position welding on a diversified line of weldments andstructures involving a variety of parts and assemblies using a variety ofwelding equipment e.g. gas, arc, mig, and tig.
• Set-up,adjust and proficiently operate the machines including, but not limited to;Lathes, Drills, Mill and Surface Grinders, required to perform the assignedoperations, on a variety of work requiring close tolerances and finish.
• Perform alloperations necessary to assemble, install and maintain piping and pipingsystems. Proficiently operate a wide variety of tools and equipment.
• Able toread, interpret and use blueprints, drawings, sketches, and measurements.
• Be capableof using Computerized Maintenance Management software to create worknotifications, look-up and order parts, print work orders, and enter timeconfirmations.
• Practice andfollow all required safety regulations.

Key Requirements:

• 18 years ofage or older
• Ability tocommunicate effectively for manufacturing production processes
• Physicalability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without areasonable accommodation
• Ability tofollow all safety policies and procedures
• Reliableattendance and work performance
• Successfulcompletion of a drug screen and background check
• High Schooldiploma/GED required.
• Mustcomplete a written technical skills evaluation and receive a passing score onthe STM (Standard Timing Model) assessment.
• Must also becapable of operating a fork truck.
• Must provideown tools.
