- Proficient understanding of engineering principles (soil/rock mechanics, steel design, hydraulics/pump networks, ventilation, conveyors, electricity, economics)
- Excellent computer skills (AutoCAD, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mining/Civil/Mechanical) or equivalent experience
- Engineer in Training (EIT)
- Professional Engineering License (PE)
- Experience in underground continuous and longwall mining methods
- Experience in project management
