MIS Analyst - JoCo : Job Details

What is the position?

The Management Information System Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting data infrastructure and management systems and contributing to informed decision-making across the organization. This position is ideal for recent graduates and those with 0-2 years of experience with a passion for data management and system optimization.

What are the responsibilities?

As an MIS Analyst, you will:

• Support data management processes, including data entry, validation, and reporting.
• Maintain reports for daily operations and long-term decision-making.
• Reconcile daily activities between depositories and the trust/bond accounting system.
• Promptly and accurately complete security transactions.
• Assist in maintaining and optimizing MIS systems to meet organizational needs.
• Analyze data trends and outputs to drive business insights.
• Assist auditors, account officers, WMS management, investment managers, compliance, and support personnel with resolutions.
• Help maintain data security and integrity per company standards.
• Complete additional responsibilities as required.

What are the requirements?

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance or a related field
• 0-2 years of experience in an analytical/data-focused role
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Understanding of securities & wealth management accounting systems
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of database management
• Some knowledge of accounting practices/principles (reconciliation, trust accounting, bond accounting preferred)
• PC & software application skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
