This position is located at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

This position is not eligible for telecommuting.

Essential Functions

  • Ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated to RGNext personnel responsible for service delivery and facilitate the RGNext response to customer requirements.
  • Facilitate the Universal Documentation System (UDS) mission planning process and interface closely with various launch customers.
  • Respond to and prepare UDS documentation.
  • Communicate with operational parties the schedule status, issues, and problems affecting launch operations.
  • Monitor workflow to ensure delivery of products on time in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Prepare and present the Operations Readiness Review briefing to senior management.
  • Perform broad spectrum of Support Facilitator functions for all mission campaigns throughout the enterprise, as required.
  • Provide day of launch on-console support and act as Data Control Officer in the event of a mishap.
  • Ensure work products are reviewed prior to release to provide a quality product and consistency with RGNext operating instructions, policies, procedures, and organizational responsibilities.
  • Ensure all planning contract delivery requirements list (CDRL) documents are delivered on schedule.
  • Track and coordinate delivery of post-launch data products.
  • Prepare and provide progress, status reports, and briefings as required or requested, to inform management of anticipated performance problems, issues, improvement initiatives.
  • Improve the quality, efficiencies, and timeliness of enterprise solutions, products or services.
  • Ensure contract compliance and fulfillment while supporting process improvement methods derived from internal and external integrated process team actions.
  • Develop and integrate enterprise Integrated Process Team (IPT) concepts and recommendations to capitalize on Cross Range best practices, efficiencies and standardization.
  • Develop and maintain procedures and work instructions in accordance with applicable Performance Work Statement (PWS) and CDRL requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Possess team building skills that demonstrate, or indicate a high potential for successful direction of the launch planning team for multiple launch programs and simultaneous launch opportunities.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with the customers, superiors, and peers.
  • Ability to organize and lead effective meetings and prepare clear oral and written direction, correspondence, and reports.
  • Adept at public speaking and customer interaction with audiences ranging from RGNext and Government senior leadership through subordinate workforce.
  • Ability to project a professional image when working with the customer.

Required Experience

  • BA or BS degree in a business, project management, or science/technology discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years' of work experience showing increased scope of responsibility.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with MS Project desired.
  • Basic understanding of Universal Documentation System and how Range and Range Customer requirements are collected and translated into mission plans, documents, and schedules.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Understanding of Space Systems Command (SSC), Space Launch Delta 45 (SLD 45), and RGNext policies, procedures, and organizational responsibilities for requirements review, operations planning, scheduling, and mission execution preferred.
  • Ability to travel if required.
  • Flexibility in work schedule, to include non-duty hours or on weekends/holidays to support specific project or mission requirements and customer schedules.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
