ML-Ops Engineer / Sr Software Engineer -ML-Ops (100% Remote) Primary Location: 100% Remote V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a ML-Ops Engineer / Sr Software Engineer -ML-Ops (100% Remote) for our premier client. Education and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in MLOps or ML engineering roles, with demonstrated expertise in building and operationalizing ML workflows.
• Extensive experience with Google Cloud tools, including Vertex AI and BigQuery.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
• Deep knowledge of MLOps frameworks and cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with open-source tools such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Strong understanding of scalable infrastructure for machine learning systems (e.g., CPU/GPU management).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead initiatives and engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Retail experience is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to align ML engineering with business needs.
• Experience with feature store implementation and advanced data pipelines.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: Job Responsibilities: Diverse ML Platform Expertise:

• Maintain and implement ML systems on platforms such as Google Vertex AI while remaining adaptable to other technologies as needed.
• Leverage open-source frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn, integrating them via custom containers.
• Stay current on trends in MLOps and emerging ML technologies to ensure cutting-edge solutions.

Recommender System Design and Development:

• Build and enhance recommender systems using techniques such as embedding-based retrieval, reinforcement learning, transformers, and LLMs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate recommender systems into customer-facing products.
• Utilize AB testing and data-driven optimization to refine and improve ML models.
• Design infrastructure solutions to deploy ML systems, including CPU/GPU optimization and networking.

Feature Store Management:

• Manage, share, and optimize ML features at scale using Vertex AI Feature Store.
• Implement centralized feature stores for improved transparency, authority, and security.
• Enable feature delivery with endpoint exposure while ensuring robust data governance.

Data Management and Collaboration:

• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to ensure high-quality data labeling and preparation.
• Maintain efficient integration between BigTable/BigQuery and ML models for business intelligence tools.
• Drive end-to-end data-to-AI workflows that align with business objectives.

Continuous Monitoring and Optimization:

• Monitor ML systems in production to identify and implement performance improvements.
• Participate in support rotations and troubleshoot issues in real time.
