Job Description We are seeking a Mobile App Developer to support DHS/CBP mission-critical systems. This hands-on role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performing mobile solutions. You'll collaborate with teams to resolve technical issues, enhance system capabilities, and ensure scalability and reliability throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities: - Architect, design, build, and enhance real-time, scalable mobile solutions.
- Develop front-end mobile and back-end RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing and adherence to best practices.
- Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
Requirements
- Work Schedule: 100% Remote But Candidate must reside in the DMV area
- Education: Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
- Mobile Development Expertise: Minimum 5 years of experience in Android/iOS development.
- Proficient in front-end mobile frameworks and back-end RESTful API development.
- Hands-on experience with: -Development languages: Java, Node.js -Databases: SQL, NoSQL -Testing frameworks and tools. -Mobile frameworks like Flutter and languages such as Dart.
- Strong knowledge of Postgres, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks (e.g., Angular/React).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a CBP Background Investigation prior to start.
Preferred Qualifications: - Active CBP BI clearance.
- Active Top Secret / SCI
- AWS cloud development experience.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Prior experience with DHS/CBP projects.
- Knowledge of additional mobile frameworks
