Position Summary & Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
The Mobile Center Manager will oversee the operations of the KANSASWORKS Mobile Workforce Center, ensuring the effective delivery of employment, reemployment, and employer services. This role involves collaborating with the Local Workforce Investment Board and other One-Stop partners to strategically deploy the Mobile Workforce Center to areas where services are most needed. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for providing technical support and scheduling routine maintenance for all equipment onboard the mobile unit.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
* Schedules and operates the Mobile Workforce Center to offer a full array of employment, reemployment, and employer services to complement services provided by local area staff.
* Deploys and set up the Mobile Workforce Center to areas where services are needed.
* Drives and sets up a self-contained vehicle equipped with telecommunications equipment such as computers, printers, TV, overhead projectors, LCD projectors, and internet equipment.
* Provides Workforce Center Services to customers.
* Provides career guidance and counseling on resume and cover letter preparation, interviewing techniques, and other job search and retention skills.
* Conducts active and ongoing marketing and outreach efforts to partners and businesses to promote services provided through the Mobile Workforce Center.
* Ensures all equipment in the Mobile Workforce Center is functioning properly and coordinates storage for vehicle.
* Conducts Housing Inspections for the H-2A Foreign Labor Certification Program.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
* Six (6) months of closely related work experience.
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in education, business, human resources, psychology, or related field may be accepted in lieu of work experience.
* Bachelor's degree as listed above with six (6) months of closely related work experience is preferred.
* One-year experience working with job seekers in a recruitment or job coaching environment preferred.
* Previous experience driving recreation and/or large vehicles preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prefer one year of experience working with job seekers in a recruitment or job coaching environment.
* Prefer one year of experience in marketing and/or public relations
