Keller Trucking currently has an opening for Mobile Mechanic.

Mobile Mechanic - Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Perform PMs and repairs on heavy duty trucks and trailers at various off-site locations such as drop yards and customer lots.
• Read and comprehend service troubleshooting guides using OEM software such as Cummins Insite, Tech Tools, and Diagnostic Link
• Maintain an intermediate to advanced level of skill in diesel aftertreatment, air brakes, electrical and lighting systems and other major engine components
• Perform yard checks at off-site locations and complete repairs as needed
• Perform safety and annual inspections in accordance with FMCSA regulations
• Install, mount and dismount tires
• Maintain inventory in mobile service truck
• Interact courteously and professionally with drivers, vendors, and customers.
• Process repair orders and complete tech notes on digital work orders

Special Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience or its equivalent in training
• Experience with OEM software is preferred
• Brake certification in accordance with FMCSA § 396.25 required
• Basic computer skills such as email and Word
