You will be responsible to know site-specific policies and procedures and implement emergency response activities as appropriate. You are expected to provide high level and outstanding customer service while ensuring the safety of all employees and intellectual property while occupying the space. In this role you will be the subject matter expert at various locations/posts, with knowledge of all entry points and exit routes and conduct regular and random patrols around the various assigned locations.Salary and benefit information:Job type: Full and/or part time positionsLocation: Onsite-Sunnyvale, CASalary range: $55/hrHealth InsurancePaid time off401KAccidental and Critical Illness CoverageHours Available: Monday Friday, 12 hours shifts, 630am-630pm (subject to change)Requirements:Key Responsibilities:Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents or conditions following procedures. Assist with emergencies or evacuation of the space (fire, natural disaster, threatening situation).Monitor all communication channels affecting or applicable to the security assignmentMake clear decisions within parameters of established policies and protocolsProvide security escorts in the assigned space for facilities, client staff, and or mail or janitorial service.Support Staff with conference areas and large-scale meetingsStaff and Office alarm responsesSupport staff with ad hoc meetings off-hours supportDocument report incidents or concerns to the appropriate management teamMaintain in compliance with confidentiality and NDAs agreementsRequired Qualifications:Must meet LEOSA (Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act) requirements, as per HR 218.Must possess and maintain valid CA exposed firearm permitMust possess and maintain valid CA concealed carry weapons permit (CCW)Must possess and maintain valid BSIS Guard CardMust possess and maintain valid CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid certificatesAs a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local lawsPreferred Qualifications:Experience and training in Executive ProtectionDemonstrate effective written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with the general public in a polite, professional mannerAbility to remain calm during stressful situationsAble to accept last-minute assignmentsComfortable using technology; willingness to learn proprietary security and safety systems as neededAbility to observe, survey, report and respond to critical situations while on any given propertyAbility to multi-task and set appropriate pace at various job sitesAbility to meet physical demands of each site which may include long periods of sitting, standing and walkingPId474d89bca7e-31181-#######7.
