Works with patients to restore highest or maintain their highest possible functional level. Performs individualize activity plan of maintenance walking. Provides direct Early Mobility care and delegated tasks as assigned, completing work accurately, safely and in a timely manner Participates in team meetings providing patient progress Follows the plan of care directives Participates in QA programs related to function Performs vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen level before activity begins or other mobility care prior to ambulation. Incorporates monitoring equipment during activity session as instructed and reports needs to supervising nurse, CTL, Charge Nurse, or Director Initiates Coordination/schedule mobility plan with nursing to allow successful completion of activity sessions.
