MOKA is hiring an enthusiastic, positive and customer-focused Shift Leader who is passionate about customer service and will deliver a great MOKA experience to each customer. Our core business is built around focusing on high quality coffee and espresso drinks with quick and friendly customer service. We are looking for a candidate with leadership experience in the food/beverage service or coffee industry, who will bring their personality and enthusiasm to the team and customers every day.Shift leaders are responsible for running the shift, trained to open and close the store and provide support to the management team.Our ideal candidate would be able to successfully do the following:Manage day-to-day tasks and cleaning procedures at the store.Demonstrate and reinforce MOKA's mission and core values.Support the business by creatively driving sales and maintaining cost controls.Create genuine experiences and build positive relationships.Be responsible for supporting the Labor and COGS budget for the location.Enjoy training new employeesDetail oriented and demonstrates a great level of organizationAchieve and maintain the highest standards for service and drink quality.Qualifications:6 months of leadership experience1 year of food and beverage experienceMaintains a positive attitude while working and interacting with team members as well as customersKeeps busy, stays organized and delegates tasks as necessaryAble to coach and give feedback in a positive mannerMaintain high levels of communication with all staffAbility to create and maintain a positive atmosphereAbility to receive constructive criticism and coaching to further improve on skill setsFollow company procedures in regards to cash handling, equipment maintenance, and company property
