Mold Die Setter - Chesapeake Manufacturing Defunct : Job Details

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mold Die Setter to join our team in Ridgway.

Duties

• Set up and adjust molds and dies for production runs according to specifications.
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on molding equipment.
• Collaborate with production team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of production runs, including any issues encountered and resolutions implemented.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
• Train and mentor junior staff on best practices for mold die setting and operation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mold Die Setter or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of molding processes, machinery, and tooling.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Salary info:
