Do you hold a mold maker certification or have experience making molds and looking for a 1st shift opportunity?We have a Direct hire opportunity for a Mold Maker at our manufacturing client in Grayslake, IL. They are a leading manufacturer of highly engineered mechanical and electromechanical locking devices and systems for world-class OEM's along with highly engineered mechanical and electrical accessories for the marine industry.6:30am-3:00pm with an hourly compensation up to $37/hr.What you will do:Monitor process parameters on the injection machines and secondary systems.Safely, accurately, and timely execution of tooling changeovers per work instructions.Build small to medium die cast and injection molds from tooling drawings and piece part prints.Troubleshoot molding problems including but not limited to flash, short shots, dimensional issues, etc.What is required:Have built small to medium-sized precision die cast dies & plastic injection molds from tooling drawings and piece part printsAble to troubleshoot and make replacement insertsAble to build fixtures for manufacturing assembly machinesAble to lift and move steel weighing less than 35 poundsAble to move around equipment, bend, lean, twistThree-plus years of related experienceBenefits:Profit sharing401K match up to 6%ZERO cost health benefitsDental and vision insuranceTuition reimbursementCompany-paid disability and life insuranceFlexible spending accounts
