Job Title: Mold MakerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Mold Maker to join our team. The role involves modifying existing tools and fabricating new ones using machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders. You will diagnose issues with tools and equipment, implement solutions, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal functionality. Additionally, you will inspect tools and equipment for wear and damage and keep detailed records of tool usage and repairs.Responsibilities
  • Modify existing tools and fabricate new ones as needed.
  • Utilize machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with tools and equipment.
  • Inspect tools and equipment for wear and damage.
  • Perform routine maintenance on tooling.
  • Keep detailed records of tool usage, repairs, and maintenance.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in mold making and mold repair.
  • Mechanical skills in setting up and operating lathes, mills, and grinders.
  • Ability to ensure tools and equipment are calibrated and aligned within specified tolerances.
  • 3+ years of tooling/mold making experience.
  • Injection molding experience preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with tool and die, toolmaking, and tooling.
  • Knowledge of plastic repair.
