Mold Maker - Aerotek : Job Details

Job Title: Mold MakerJob DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Mold Maker to join our team in Plymouth, IN. This position is for the 1st shift and involves working on bench jobs with a small amount of reactive maintenance on injection molding machines. We currently have 25 injection molding machines. The hours for this role are from 7 am to 3 pm, with some flexibility on start and stop times by one hour.ResponsibilitiesUtilize Bridgeports, lathes, and surface grinders to repair used molds.Perform bench jobs on molds that have recently run to get them repaired to run again.Troubleshoot minor process problems.Repair oil leaks in fittings, cylinders, and hydraulic lines.Repair damaged tooling.Record and report findings (good written and oral communication skills required).Clean molds and put them away in the proper location.Occasional to frequent bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting/carrying (generally 10 lbs. to 40 lbs.) of auxiliary equipment or molds.Work within the Production Support Group (PSG) assisting with maintenance and repair as needed upon completion of daily mold set assignments.Maintain a good work and attendance record and work overtime as required.Essential SkillsExperience with mold or tool making.Ability to read blueprints.Previous experience with injection molding.Proficiency in using lathes, Bridgeports, and surface grinders.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Tool & Die.Strong communication skills.Why Work Here?Our team values dedication and hard work.
