Mold Maker - Heico : Job Details

Switchcraft is a U.S. manufacturer of connectors, jacks, plugs, molded cable assemblies, patchbays, and switches. Our products are used in a wide variety of industries including medical, GPS, process control, transportation, homeland security, broadcast and pro audio.We are currently seeking a Mold Maker who will work with various journeymen building and repairing injection molds. This person must have knowledge of tool room equipment: saws, drill press, vertical mill, lathe, surface grinder.First Shift - M-F - 6a-2:30p$25/HourResponsibilities & Duties:Constructs piece parts or entire assemblies from sketches, verbal or blueprintsOperates various hand and/or machine shop tools with high degree of precision to models and partsWorks closely with designers or planning engineers, understands the design approachAdapts or develops designs intent into practical proceduresBuild die section and proto molds as requiredDocument all toolsAll other duties as requested by supervisorMinimum Requirements:Vision acuity required5 years of experience mold making preferredAttention to detailBasic math skillsBlueprint reading (Required)Must be able to lift 50 poundsMachine Shop experience (Required)EOE M/F/Disabled/Vet.
