We are currently seeking 1st and 2nd shift Blow Mold Technicians for both plants. JOB SUMMARY Perform diverse duties to maintain blow mold equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes. Must follow all required food safety guidelines and procedures to include but not limited to: Food Safety Policies, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Maintenance Practices, Company General Safety and Work Rules. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Preventative duties include: maintaining correct fluid levels, changing oven lamps, changing compressed air filters, polishing molds, greasing and oiling equipment, checking and changing the pneumatic, water and oil lines, changing air filters and no-lu on air conveyor, changing machines over to a new bottle size, rebuilding stretch rod cylinders and blow nozzles and other assemblies on the bench, performing air leak checks, assisting with spare parts inventory checks and putting parts away, completing paperwork documenting work performed, may also assist mechanics with repairs and more complex preventative work. Work week requires OT. SKILLS and/or EXPERIENCE Must be mechanically inclined have the ability to follow instructions, have good communication skills, the ability to work independently, and have previous manufacturing experience operating, troubleshooting and cleaning high speed production equipment. Previous experience operating or performing preventative maintenance/cleaning of blow mold equipment, helpful. Position requires continuous work near heat, noise, gas, and chemicals. Frequent lifting (up to 50 pounds) is required as well as climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending and kneeling. Employment Type: Full Time Bonus/Commission: No
