Job Description Under the supervision of the Money Processing Center Manager, this position is responsible for processing incoming customer deposit bags and outgoing change orders received via Armored Car, ensuring accuracy and providing quality service. Must adhere to department standard safety requirements. If applicable or appropriate, assists in business unit's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to Fair Banking, Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act. Responsibilities
Receives/verifies/balances/prepares deposits/change orders received via armored car from customers and branches in accordance to established processing and security procedures. Balances a cash truck and adheres to cash handling guidelines. Provides team support, assists department in meeting daily deadlines. May provide assistance in various areas within departments. Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned. This position requires use of a personal computer and other standard office equipment (fax, scanner, copier, calculator, telephone). Qualifications 1. Education: High School Diploma/G.E.D. from an accredited educational institution, or equivalent work experience. 2. Experience: Level is dependent on years of experience and size/complexity of prior positions held.
- Level I: Professional business experience. Banking/financial industry exposure is preferred. Level is dependent on years of experience and size/complexity of prior positions held.
- Level II: Minimum of 1 year of money processing experience, or equivalent work experience.
3. Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or similar software. Knowledge of or ability to use Bank software and systems. 4. Other Job Qualifications: Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Must be analytical, detail oriented, organized. Must be able to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities. Should be an active listener and team player who projects a positive, professional image and promotes team effort. Must have strong interpersonal skills, negotiation skills and be able to work across departments. Able to lift/transport up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time. Steel toe foot wear is mandatory. Must be able to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends, and evenings, as needed or assigned.
