Fresno, CAAbout California High Speed Rail- CP1Extraordinary Projects, Exceptional PerformanceThe California High-Speed Rail Authority's Construction Package 1 (CP1) is the first significant construction contract executed on the Initial Operating Section of the High-Speed Rail project in California's Central Valley.The CP1 construction area is a 32-mile stretch between Avenue 19 in Madera County to East American Avenue in Fresno County, including major work elements in downtown Fresno. It includes 12 roadway / railroad grade separations, two mainline viaducts, one tunnel, realignments of existing railroad tracks, utility relocations, roadway relocations, two trench sections, and a major river crossing over the San Joaquin River.

Structural Superintendent at Tutor Perini, reporting to the
Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
- Supervise construction effort to ensure project is constructed safely in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
- Assume responsibility for planning, coordinating and supervising onsite functions (scheduling, subcontractor coordination, etc.).
- Assume responsibility for compliance of craft workers and subcontractors with contract requirements, efficient use of materials & equipment, site safety plan and timely performance of the project schedule.
- Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as required.
- Assist project management in developing, project schedule, site logistics plan and implementing project procedures, working documents, standards, etc.
- Support Site Specific Safety Plan.
- Coordinate with on-site Owner employees.
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
REQUIREMENTS:- Highschool diploma or GED or 15 or more years of construction experience
- 10 or more years' experience as a superintendent on heavy civil projects
- Experience as a superintendent on projects valued over $200M
- Knowledge, skills and experience with U.S. construction methods, techniques, and standards.
- Experience with City, State, Federal Government Clients preferred
- Knowledge of contract management and familiarity with local trade/unions/craft
- Experienced in MS Word/Excel, Procure, Bluebeam, HCSS Heavy bid or similar software
- OSHA certification, First Aid Certs
- Excellent written and verbal skills
