Our desire is to see individuals reach their full potential, and create lasting change that will stand the test of time.JOB SUMMARYThe Residential Monitor reports to the Assistant Program Director and is responsible for the supervision, managing and monitoring of residents in the Belgravia Center.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide supervision and monitoring of residents.
  • Monitor and ensure residents and visitors comply with all program policies and schedules.
  • Make written notes/reports to document resident behavior, as per contract requirements.
  • Complete multiple security checks throughout shifts including walking the perimeter, monitoring the grounds, documenting rounds, counts, and room inspections on appropriate forms.
  • Perform routine pat down searches of residents.
  • Quickly respond to incoming telephone calls and visitors or residents at the door/gate.
  • Report and appropriately document resident behavioral incidents and/or violations of program policies.
  • Perform some filing and other general office duties.
  • Perform urine specimen collection and process specimens and documents in accordance with stated and approved procedures.
  • Thinks and acts quickly and efficiently in emergencies.
  • Will drive on Agency business.
  • Physical presence at the program is required.
  • ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two (2) years monitor experience or 48 units of completed coursework from an accredited college or two (2) years of work experience working with justice involved adults or in a related field.
  • Current certified training in emergency first aid, preferred.
  • Legibly, accurately and appropriately document communications, behaviors and facility events as they occur.
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Office 365, Teams, Zoom and other communication/meeting platforms.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a dependable means of transportation that is properly insured and operated in accordance with all laws. Agency insurer authorization is required.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and TB test.
