Monitor - The Salvation Army Eastern Territory : Job Details

Of Position:Provide overall support for women and children residents of both our emergency shelter and the permanent housing program. This may include, but is not limited to supervision and guidance, enforcement of shelter rules and regulations, maintaining a safe and secure environment, verbal and written communication with co-workers, monitoring and documenting the resident's behavior, as well as, attendance and absences from the program, performing housekeeping and cooking responsibilities, clerical tasks, and completing emergency intakes. Qualifications Requirements:Associates or Bachelor's Degree, but will accept High School Diploma or GED (or actively enrolled) with experience. While an appreciation for, and understanding of, the philosophy and mission of The Salvation Army is required, being active Salvationist is a plus.
