Primary Job Duties Customer Service Skills: Greet customers throughout the day and provide assistance with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise. Answer phones and direct calls. Handle guest requests, suggestions, complaints, returns, and questions efficiently. Report guest suggestions, comments, and complaints to the On-Duty-Manager. Sales Skills: Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions and policies regarding payment and exchanges. Responsible for promoting and locating products that meet the customers needs. Cashier: Efficiently operates POS system using proper cash handling methods. Assists customers with the use of the card processing machine for credit, debit, and ebt. Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate. Handles cash register transactions with speed and accuracy. Engagement with customers is balanced between friendly and efficient.
