Mortgage Loan Partner - Firstintlbankaz : Job Details

As a Mortgage Loan Partner, you will play a pivotal role in our mortgage lending operations. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers through the loan application process, coordinating with lenders and underwriters, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all parties involved. You will work closely with loan officers, customers, and real estate professionals to facilitate timely loan approvals and closings.

This is an in-office position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare mortgage applications obtained from initial online application program or via phone.
• Pull credit, run automated underwriting, and analyze completed application to determine acceptability of risk.
• Price loans, explain financing options to borrower, obtain borrower's commitment and lock loans.
• Collaborate with loan officers, processors, and other mortgage team members to ensure a great applicant experience.
• Communicate with realtors, title companies, CPAs, and other third parties involved during the loan process.
• Check loan file accuracy and completeness of file information.
• Review information to verify relevance, accuracy, and that it meets necessary rules and guidelines.
• Provide periodic loan status updates to borrowers, realtors, title company, and mortgage loan processing.
• As directed by the loan officer, provide loan support to mortgage originators assisting with loan file comments and withdrawn/denied files in compliance with FIBT's loan file policy/procedure.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; two years of mortgage experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
