To learn more about us, visit www.firstsavingsbanks.bankAbout the roleThis role is responsible for processing and managing mortgage loan applications, ensuring that all necessary documentation and information is obtained and verified to successfully complete the loan process. This role specializes in mortgage loans that are kept within the bank's portfolio.This role is open to the Omaha branch. It is not a remote position.What you will do
  • Manages and processes mortgage loan applications in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
  • Collects and verifies all necessary financial and personal information required for loan applications.
  • Orders credit reports, appraisals, and title reports as needed.
  • Coordinates with loan officers, underwriters, and third-party vendors to ensure timely and accurate completion of loan applications.
  • Reviews loan files for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Remains current on changes in mortgage lending guidelines and regulations.
  • May assist with application disclosures and with preparing loan closing documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What you will need
  • 2+ years of experience in mortgage lending or related field.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and guidelines.
  • Proficient with Mortgage Loan Processing software, LaserPro experience preferred, Microsoft Operating System and MS office Suite of products.
