The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing loan applications efficiently and accurately. As a Loan Processor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and timely loan processing, from application submission to loan approval.Responsibilities:
  • Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy.
  • Verify applicant information, including income, employment history, and credit reports.
  • Communicate with applicants to request additional documentation or information as needed.
  • Prepare loan files and ensure all necessary documentation is included.
  • Evaluate applicant eligibility based on company policies and loan requirements.
  • Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and other team members to facilitate the loan approval process.
  • Follow up with applicants and provide updates on the status of their loan applications.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the loan processing.
  • Maintain accurate records of loan transactions and updates in the database.
  • Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the loan processing.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a loan processor.
  • Knowledge of loan processing procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
