Front Desk Clerk Pay Rate: $14.50 Position Description: Providing rooms for guests with or without reservations is the chief task of a Hotel Front Desk Agent. This includes servicing same-day reservations as well as pre-registered guests. The Hotel Front Desk Agent will provide information about available rooms and rates, furnish room keys and hotel information, and process payments. These duties also include checking guests out of the hotel. Essential Job Functions May include the following or other duties as assigned:
- Communicate with the booking, housekeeping, and maintenance departments to ensure prompt responses to guests' needs.
- Make reservations or appointments for guests who want to avail themselves of local entertainment or services.
- Answer guest calls and record details of each conversation for future follow-up
- Meet and exceed guests' expectations by anticipating the services they might require and suggesting local venues.
- Maintain constant communication with guests in advance of weddings, corporate retreats, and other in-house events to ensure we're prepared for them.
- Report any accidents or injuries to senior management staff immediately.
- Running credit cards for payment of rooms.
- Sweeping and mopping lobby area nightly. (May have to clean lobby bathrooms when housekeeping cannot).

- Minimum Education: HS Diploma or GED
- Minimum Experience - Industry: Experience preferred, but not necessary.
- Minimum Experience - Software: Must be comfortable using a computer.
- Must be able to interact successfully with all levels of staff, clients, and vendors.
- Must be able to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Must be able to follow directions completely, accurately, and consistently.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Able to successfully complete Reference Checks, Background Check, and Drug Screen
