Perform manual operating of lift when necessary. Physical effort is required to stoop, bend, and climb to inspect a vehicle, to lift more than a sixty-pound tire/rim combination to change tires. The employee operates vehicles in traffic and road conditions, including very congested urban traffic; interstate highways, city streets, county roads; rural unpaved roads; construction zones; and all-weather types. Employee experiences a variety of working positions (e.g., stooping, bending). The incumbent is required to work indoors and outdoors, experiencing various weather conditions. The incumbent is exposed to heat, cold, dust, rain, etc. The employee is at risk of exposure to dirt, fumes, grease, and other physical elements when setting up and tearing down MMU.EducationThis job does not have an education qualification requirement.Additional informationReceiving Service Credit or Earning Annual (Vacation) Leave: Federal Employees earn annual leave at a rate (4, 6 or 8 hours per pay period) which is based on the number of years they have served as a Federal employee.
